Stir-fried Beef and Mushrooms with XO Sauce

Beef fillet/tenderloin 300 g / 克 [sliced]
Button Mushroom (s) 90 g / 克 [canned, sliced]
Straw mushroom(s) 90 g / 克 [canned, sliced]
Carrot (s) 25 g / 克 [sliced]
Chili 1 pc [Red, cut into pieces]


Premium Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp / 湯匙
Sesame Oil (Blended) 1 tsp / 茶匙
Corn starch 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
XO Sauce 3 tbsp / 湯匙
Premium Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp / 湯匙

  1. Mix beef with marinade.
  2. Saute red chili in 2 tbsp oil.  Add beef and stir-fry until almost done.  Add button mushrooms, straw mushrooms, carrot and seasoning mix.  Stir well for another 2 minutes until heated through.

Do not use salt to marinate beef because it makes the meat become less tender. It is more convenient to use Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce to bring out the tasty flavor of the beef. Blanch the fresh straw mushrooms to remove unpleasant smell.
