Bamboo Pith with Chicken in Oyster Sauce

Chicken meat 90 g / 克 [cut into 12 long strips]
Carrot (s) 50 g / 克 [cut into 12 long strips]
Dried Bamboo Pith 50 g / 克12 nos
Green onion(s) [shredded, for garnish]


Premium Oyster Sauce 1 tsp / 茶匙
Sesame Oil (Blended) 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Corn starch 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Premium Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Premium Soy Sauce 1 tsp / 茶匙
Water 125 ml / 毫升
Corn starch 2 tsp / 茶匙

  1. Mix chicken with marinade.
  2. Soak well bamboo pith and trim into 5 cm sections.  Set aside.
  3. Stuff bamboo pith with chicken and carrot.  Arrange on a serving plate.  Steam for 10 minutes until done.  Pour away excess liquid.
  4. Heat through sauce mix and pour over bamboo pith.  Garnish with shredded green onion.
