Stewed Chicken Wings and Chestnuts in Oyster Sauce

Chicken wings [middle joint] 400 g / 克
Chestnuts 170 g / 克 [cooked]
Chinese mushroom(s) 3 pcs [soaked and cut into pieces]
Green onion(s) 2 pcs [sectioned]
Garlic 1/2 tbsp / 湯匙 [minced]
Cooking wine 1 tbsp / 湯匙 [optional]
Iceberg lettuce [for serving]


Premium Oyster Sauce 1 1/2 tbsp / 湯匙
Sesame Oil (Blended) 1 tsp / 茶匙
Corn starch 1 tsp / 茶匙
Premium Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Water 250 ml / 毫升
Corn starch 2 tsp / 茶匙
Sugar 1 tsp / 茶匙

  1. Mix chicken wings with marinade.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in casserole.  Saute minced garlic, chinese mushrooms and green onions.  Add chicken wings and stir-fry until done.
  3. Sprinkle with wine.  Add chestnuts and sauce mix.  Simmer with lid on until sauce thickens.
  4. Serve with lettuce.
